Youtube: Creativity Unlimited

You know, Youtube is full of fantastic video footage. I will admit, some do seem to be...kind of stupid, but there are many videos that a person can enjoy. You can literally find everything you need on Youtube, especially when it comes to how-to's and tutorials. You can learn Math, learn to play guitar, hell, even learn to drive! but I know for a fact, that most people search the videos of Youtube for it's entertainment value. I am subscribed to many different uploaders, and I even have some videos I edited and uploaded myself, although that was a long time ago. Here I will show you some of my favorite videos and even, maybe share one of my own!

The ERB aka Epic Rap Battles  of History. These videos are absolutely awesome!!! They are so funny, and some of them are just super super catchy!
Gahndi vs. Martin Luther King Jr.

Marylin Monroe vs. Cleopatra

And of course, being a computer nerd,
this would become my favorite of the series so far!
Bill Gates vs. Steve Jobs

I really do enjoy those videos! Be aware there is cursing, so if you do find it offensive, I apologize.

The next video series is, being a gaming nerd, Dorkly Bits! They used and edit old game sprites and make videos. Really funny, especially if you get the reference.

Link's Yardsale

Subzero's Glasses

Toad's House is Rigged

I guess you can say I love these videos because of the nostalgia that they bring to me, since all of the games referenced played a part in my childhood.

The last video series I'll talk about is the REACT series from the Fine Bros. They have Kids, Teens and Elders all react to certain web videos on youtube, which varies from emotions of laughter to scared, but I guarantee it will make you laugh. XD

Elders React to Happy Tree Friends
(Warning: Very Graphic!)

Kids React to Hatsune Miku

Teens React to Girl Burns Her Hair Off

The last video, I nearly died laughing at the other teens reactions. That's the winning point of these videos is their reactions, its sooo hilarious. Although I did feel kind of bad for the girl.

Well..... Oh yeah, here's the last video that I personally created a long time ago. It's an anime music video. I got into video editing because of my fascination with this process, and have many made more, but here's one of my first ones. Enjoy!

Crucifixtion of the No Life King

Youtube really does allow us to view many different videos, but it also lets us observe other peoples creativity, giving everyone on youtube a broader audience that one may not have had before. It introduces people to different music, movies, and trends and makes it so everyone can be apart of it. Well, I'm Later Days!! Nerding Out!

MTG: The Combo Bug

Although, only recently have I gotten into Magic the Gathering, the card game is something I really do enjoy playing. One of my favorite hobby's is to come up with combos, or even utilize existing combos to have an extremely powerful, and albeit, unfair winning advantage over the other players. There are different levels of play, or should I say, different types of decks you can use when playing. The most popular being standard because that's allowed in tournament, but it has the downside of having all players utilize the newest cards from the two most recent blocks. My friends and I... do not care for such a thing. We play casual, meaning we use cards from even the most early of releases like the Alpha and Beta sets. Why? Because it's fun! We all use cards that would IMMEDIATELY have us banned from play, and we're proud of that, too. Being able to use all cards from all sets allows for more creativity, and even infinite combos. I shall list some card combos that I think are well worth it, would make other players despise...and fear you. These combos are known, but maybe YOU don't know them. Let us begin!

First up one of my all time favorites: Winter Orb + The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale
+

Is that not ridiculous??? So let's say you have 3-4 creatures out in play, and someone has these cards out. Well, with the Tabernacle, you must pay 1 mana  each for those creatures on your upkeep phase or else they are destroyed, but Winter Orb, allows you only 1 mana to untap for the rest of the game and nothing more. Given the fact that most spells cost more than 1 mana, it's gonna be one hell of a long game. Pray no one ever, and I mean ever plays this combo against you. If someone does, may Odin have mercy on your soul!

Combo #2 -Stations of the Infinite
Here's a combo I use in a current deck: Enduring Renewal + Blasting Station/Grinding Station + Memnite

+

A great combo that can either mill infinitely or deal damage infinitely. And Memnite isn't the only 0 drop artifact creature. I specify artifact because you need an artifact for Grinding Station, but there are plenty out threre: Pyrexian Walker, Shield Sphere, and if you want 0 drop creatures, you can count on the creature type, Kobolds for that.

Now, I want to change it up a bit and talk about my favorite card of, probably all time. She doesn't get allot of recognition anymore and I wish they made newer cards that related to her. Phage the Untouchable!

I really love this card. Although bearing a high mana cost of 3 Colorless and 4 Black for a 4/4 creature, her abilities are a double-edged sword, and during the time of Legions (the only MTG set that was 100% Creatures) she was merciless, even today, she can be, if utilized correctly.  I really hope a re-release of this card or at least a card that relates to her is released in future sets.

You know what? I think I'll add one more combo! XD
Probably the most broken combo ever and will be in a deck of mine here shortly:
Torpor Orb + Phyrexian Dreadnought

+

Is that not crazy?! Torpor Orb doesn't allow creature abilities to trigger. So let's say you  have a Dark Ritual on yur first turn giving you 3 Black mana to your mana pool, on your first turn. You then use that mana to first cast Torpor Orb, and then use the last black mana for Phyrexian Dreadnought. When it enters the battlefield, its static ability does not trigger because Torpor Orb removes it from the stack completely. So you can just be paying 1 mana for a a 12/12 with Trample..... that's absolutely insane! And that doesn't just work with Phyrexian Dreadnought, that works with many different creature cards, particularly Eater of DaysLevelerSky SwallowerHunted Horror, and even my favorite, the aforementioned Phage the Untouchable!

Yes, yes I know! They're all illegal in standard play... but hey.. I'm not complaining. Well I hope you enjoyed this little diddy. Nerding Out!

Shingeki no Kyojin. An amazing new anime

Two weeks ago, I had the pleasure of viewing a new anime, available to watch online, called "Shingeki no Kyojin" aka Attack on Titan. For me, anime is someone of a dedication, where you always want to stay faithful to an anime you've watched or are in the process of watching. For me, it has and still is Fairy Tail (highly recommended if you have not seen it), but alas, my dear Fairy Tail has stopped airing new episodes for the time being, because the anime has caught up to the manga. So, in my urges to watch at least something new or, maybe something I haven't seen yet, I began watching various anime available; Naruto, Squid Girl, Nazo No Kanojo X (the latter two I enjoyed, Naruto.... well... it's been done... to death) all of which were well not quite as enjoyable as Fairy Tail, in my opinion. But, my friend and I stumbled upon "Shingeki no Kyojin". I admit I did not have high hopes for the show....but wow..... I was wrong... damn wrong!

First let me tell you the plot in a quick  short description.  Mankind's population has been reduced to about under 600,000 people. Humankind lives in towns and cities surrounded by enormous walls, about 50-60 meters high. The reason mankind's population is so small is because of these gigantic humanoid beings called titans, which have been consuming mankind for over a long period of time. The thing is though, that the titans feed off sunlight. There is no feeling in them, no expression...nothing. They see a person, they grab and eat them, and move on to the next, and the cycle goes on. Well, one day, a gigantic titan appears out of the sky, bigger than even the walls and breaks the walls down, allowing the other smaller titans to come in, wreak havoc on the town, and eventually that's where we come to the main protagonists, seeing their mother sacrifice herself so they could get away. In front of their eyes, they see their mother get devoured by a grinning titan. The Protagonists then swear to kill every one of the titans in the world.

I apologize if it's not so short. But, like I said, I didn't think of giving it a chance, but when I watched the first episode... I was immediately hooked! They show displays varying degrees of emotion, and even almost made me tear up. It is colorful, vibrant, full of action as well as drama. The production quality is superb, but then again, it was made by Production I.G. and their animation has been, to me, superior to other animation studios as of recently, even better than the makers of Fairy Tail. I loved the intro song, very operatic and adds to the flair of the show. I highly recommend it, as well as the manga too. It is very well written, and it just literally toys with your emotions. Please, follow the links to see the intro. It gives a good picture of what to expect, and the song is really catchy!Attack on Titan - Intro
